Bio | Debbie K. Morrissey, 56, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully Monday, February 26, 2007 with her family by her side. She fought a tough battle but sadly was overcome by cancer. Debbie was born in Independence, MO, to Everett and Betty Jo Mullikin. Debbie attended Van Horn High
School. Debbie's survivors include her husband Vincent Morrissey, sons Eric Keller and Chad Morrissey, daughter Heather and her husband Ryan Maxwell, granddaughter Erica Keller, Aunt Cynthia Kupka and many friends who love her.
Debbie was a beautiful lady with a gentle nature. Debbie's warm and friendly smile endeared all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. She unselfishly loved her family and we love her so much. Debbie will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts. Visitation will be from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1st at the Porter funeral home, 1835 Minnesota Ave. Kansas City, KS with the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Debbie's life will be celebrated during her Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2203 Parallel, Kansas City, KS. The Mass will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 2nd, followed by a grave site service at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 38th & State, Kansas City, KS.
