| Bio | Teresa went to UMKC for one year after graduation, then married classmate Ron Butcher in 1969; they had one son, Eric. She went to work for Social Security Administration about 1970; she was a benefit authorizor. She died of breast cancer that metasisized and spread throughout her body. She passed away at our parent's home in Independence. She faced pain and death with an amazingly positive attitude, and mainly voiced her concern for her son Eric and for me, knowing it would be an exceedingly difficult time for us. She is buried in Mt. Washington Cemetary. I still miss my beautiful sister every day even though she has been gone all these years. Marilyn McAfee Keck, VHHS Class of 1970. |
