| Bio | Dennis Mallory, 58, of Independence, MO, died Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at North Kansas City Hospital. He served in Viet Nam in 1968 and was a K.C. P.D. officer for 14 years. Dennis was a member of the VFW Post 1000 in Independence since 1972 and a member of American Legion Post 21 for many years. He leaves his mother, Patricia Mallory, Independence, his sister Karen Bushner, Lee's Summit, brother Gerald Mallory, Bonner Springs, daughter Jennifer Mallory, Overland Park and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial will be held at VFW Post 100 on 24 highway at 1 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2008. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.kccremation.com.
