| Bio | Rodney "Rod" Eugene Gregg, 60, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Rod was born October 7, 1950, in Independence, MO, to Joseph and Virginia Gregg. He was a 1968 graduate of Van Horn High School. Rod worked for Armco/GST for 32 years. He was a sports enthusiast, specifically the Chiefs and MU Tigers. Rod enjoyed traveling with his wife and travel companion, Linda. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda, five children, Scott (Jennifer) Gregg of Apex, NC, Robin Gregg (Coley Waters) of Independence, MO, Holly (Wayne) Imsdahl of Lee's Summit, MO, Eric (Mindy) Hayes of Kansas City, MO, and Stacy Hayes of Blue Springs, MO, seven grandchildren, Austin, Jack, Zane, Emma, Sam, Lake, and Gwyneth, his sister Sharron Gregg of Independence, MO, and a brother, Larry Gregg of Mexico. Rod was preceded in death by his brother, William Gregg, and both parents. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 30, 11-12, with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
