A Grand Adventure
The Fish dance mightily up the river beds,
Following the direction of instinct,
like a pre-calculated message,
To go on a grand adventure.
A bow glides across strings,
And a brush kindly meets canvas,
A camera flashes while a girl ballet dances,
Grandkids pursue their dreams,
In this grand adventure.
Music frequently dances on the air,
Kind natured tunes,
Flowing to humble ears,
On a grand adventure.
And the smell of warm home cooked meal,
Chicken fried steak with gravy to make mouths water,
Stomachs aching for more,
From this grand adventure.- Payton Cummings
