| Bio | Bev Miller Colombo graduated from MU with a BA in psychology and a Masters in Special Education. She was a special education and English teacher for 20 years and an Instructional Facilitator in a curriculum/staff development department for 10 years in St. Louis. She was also the Director of Programs and Development at the Strategic Learning Center in Seattle, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving literacy and increasing achievement for adolescents and young adults. In her roles at the SLC and at the University of Kansas, she coordinated school- wide literacy projects throughout the U.S., coordinated several federal grants, She is currently a consultant at Education Plus in St. Louis. Bev has been married to Lou for 35 years and has one daughter. |
