| Bio | SHIRLEY JEAN (LANE) PUGSLEY Shirley Jean (Lane) Pugsley, 68, of Kansas City, MO passed away December 13, 2017 at Jackson Creek Memory Care surrounded by her family. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at Floral Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Shirley was born Jan. 24, 1949 in Independence, MO. She graduated from Van Horn High School class of 1967. Shirley went on to run branch offices for Beneficial Financial, where she had a long and successful career. She was a leader, a friend, and an amazing woman who had an incredible ability to put others in front of herself. Shirley was the first female brought into the Lions Club because she was such a great business woman, winning many awards. She was preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Dorothy Lane. Shirley also rejoins her husband Larry Pugsley in Heaven. Survivors include her son, Chad White and his wife Dana; grandchildren Ava and Austin White; brother, Larry Land and wife Carol; step-daughter, Suzen Iles and husband Terry and grandchildren; also, many nieces and nephews. Shirley enjoyed her family and spending time at Table Rock Lake with her husband Larry. She loved her grandbabies and a yard full of German Shepard's. |
