Cedar Hill, Texas - Billy Joe Goins, 71, passed away February 22, 2021. Joe was born September 6, 1949 in Independence, MO to parents Charles Lee "Bill" Goins and Ruby Jeanette Setser. He met and married the joy and love of his life Annette Oden, of Cedar Hill, Texas. Joe graduated from Van Horn High School, in Independence, MO, later retiring from Sears, in Independence, MO.
Joe is preceded in death by his father Charles Lee "Bill" Goins. He is survived by his wife Annette Goins, Cedar Hill, Texas, step daughter Stacie Putnam, granddaughters, Amber McDonald (Corey), Brandi Shelton; great grandson Ryder Roberts and Shane Shelton. His mother Ruby Jeanette Goins, brothers James Goins (Sandy), Richard Goins (Kelly), sister Sue McMilian (Brent), along with nieces Rebecca Arnold (Brian), Angela Goins (Jerry Gullion), Christa McMilian, Kelli Godwin (Kacey), nephew Jacob Goins, and niece Jordan Goins, great nieces Caitlyn Arnold and Alexandra Arnold, great nephew Colton Goins and Jonas Goins-Coleman.
Joe was taken too soon from this world. He was loved wholeheartedly by his family and was a wonderful friend to all he met.

I moved to Texas in 2001. I married a Texas lady in 2002, and we're doing just fine. I was dissabled in 1993 from two hip replacements i had in 1985 and 1986. I had almost 20 yrs at Sears at Independence Center when i had to leave
due to the hip problems. |
