Bio | Glen is married with two grown sons and one grandson. He attened Michigan State University (BS), Stanford (PhD & MD), and Harvard for General Psychiatry training before returning to Stanford for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training. He is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and has been Chief Psychiatrist at the Children's Health Council (chconline.org) in Palo Alto, CA, since 2006, after being head of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UCSF from 1989 to 2006. He specializes in working with children and adolescents who have severe behavioral problems or psychiatric disorders that require the use of medications. He has been Director of the Bell Choir at his church for the past 12 years. He also has been Board Director of Camp Opportunity in Santa Cruz, CA, for the past 25 years; Camp Op offers foster kids a week of camping with one-to-one camper-to-counselor that focuses on self esteem for kids 8 through 13. |
