Anna Marie (Lance) Ruiz was born February 8, 1948 in Kansas City, MO to Raymond and Augustina Lance.
Anna graduated from Van Horn High School and worked for Social Security Administration for 31 years until her retirement in 2004.
Anna met and married Frank Galvan, Jr. and was blessed with 2 children from that union. The marriage was later dissolved. Anna was lucky to meet and marry Guadalupe “Lupe” Ruiz, to whom she was with for almost 35 years.
Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved to go to shopping.
Anna departed this life on December 14, 2022. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and 2 grand-daughters.
Anna leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Lupe Ruiz; children Frank Galvan III and Monica Gallardo; sister, Jeanie Cox and brothers, Ray Lance, Jr. and Daniel Lance; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grand-children; nieces; nephews; cousins, other relatives and friends.
