| Bio | Melba Jean Hardin , 56, of Independence, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 1st, at her home. Services will be Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Mt. Washington Forever Mausoleum Chapel, 614 Brookside, Independence, MO, where visitation will be at 10 a.m. followed by Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Vitas Hospice, 2300 Main St., Suite 900, Kansas City, MO. 64108. Melba had been employed for several years by Gold Bank. Among her survivors is husband Donald Hardin of the home, 2 daughters, Lora Hardin and Christy Filmore and son-in-law, Ryan, granddaughter, Riley Jean Filmore, and her mother, Elizabeth Finch, all of Independence, MO, and extended family member, Matthew Longley of Dallas, TX.
