THANK YOU FROM THE CLASS COORDINATORS

 Dear Van Horn 62-68 Alumni Websiters,
    Well the 1st Multi-Class Reunion for our group of classmates went off very well.  We had classmates come in from California, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, New Mexico, New Jersey, Kansas.
    Again much thanks goes out to all of you that attended as it wouldn't have been a success without you there.
Also we owe a lot of gratitude to Roy Timberman, Class of '67 for getting us set up on the website for the remainder of the 20th Century to fast forward into the 21st Century.  with the capabilities that computers give, it is so much easier to communicate with so many owner computers anymore.  We will try to keep you current on what's happening with out classes and the reunions scheduled.  Again... thank you Roy for all your help!
    The decorations were beautiful.  Susie Wilson Minzes, Class of '66, took on the task and worked closely with Ken Larson, Coordinator for Class of '68, in getting the excellent food handled.  The class of '68 was also celebrating their 30th Anniversary from VH.  Happy 30th Class of '68.
We sure were glad that those of you that made this their 1st reunion that were able to come.  Congratulations to you and hope you come back to our next one.
    Everyone commented on having such a good time.  Group pictures were taken by Chris Wilborn (816)5331-9000, so if you're interested in a group photo, give him a call soon.
    Our veterans were given a special recognition - their due for having supported the freedom of this great country.  Thank you all veterans.
    We had teachers from this era show up both evenings.  It's always great seeing out teachers.  There's always good stories of when we were in their classes.
    This year is the 50th birthday of members of the '66 class.  Happy 50th and many more.
    That we know of we've got 2 classmates, Tim Ballard, Class of '66 who performs in Las Vegas and has a CD out entitles "Take It Easy", and Bill Kleoppel, Class of '68 who has a CD "Bill Kleoppel".
    We're very proud of all of your successes... Doctors, Lawyers, Entrepeneurs, entertainers and domestic engineers... all have given to this great country we live in.
