| Bio | janice Kay Cottrell, 65, of Independence, MO, passed away March 9, 2013. She was born April 16, 1947, the daughter of John and Marjory (Eichelberger) Haley. She was a graduate of Van Horn High School and Kansas City Business College. Janice was a legal secretary for Polsinelli Shughart for over 35 years. She is survived by 1 brother, John Haley, Springfield, MO; 2 sisters, Deborah Corbett, Springfield, MO, and Martha Graham, Enfield, NC; 3 step-children, Jim Cottrell, Buckner, MO, Deborah Osowski, Independence, MO and Tamra Cottrell, Blue Springs, MO, and 3 grandchildren, Blake Cottrell, James Osowski, and Ariel Osowski and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 15, 2013 at New Salem Funeral Home. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M., prior to the service.
