| Bio | Gary T. Blencoe, 55, Independence, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Blencoe was born October 10, 1946, in Kansas City, the son of Thomas George and Geneva Maxine (Hersher) Blencoe. He was employed as a truck driver for Jackson County Public Works.
His survivors include his parents; Thomas and Geneva Blencoe, of Independence; and 1 brother; Gerald Blencoe, and his wife, Cindy of Blue Springs, Missouri.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 112 W. 23rd, Independence. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Raytown. Friends can visit 10 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the church. The family suggests contributions to Central Independence Food Pantry at the church.
