| Bio | Attended University of Missouri (BA 1969, MA 1975). Commissioned Second Lieutenant of Field Artillery (U.S.Army) in 1969. Served overseas in Germany (twice), Korea (twice), Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan (three times). Last duty position was as Army attache in Islamabad, Pakistan (2000-2003). Retired as Colonel in September 2003. Presently working as a civilian consultant on South Asia affairs for the Departments of Defense and State. Married since 1969 to Ellen Denning of St. Charles, MO. Our daughter, Courtney, is a Captain in the Army stationed
at Fort Shafter, HI. |
