Bio     Unfortunatly Marguerite passed away due to cancer. She was 59 yeras old. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by all.

Marguerite Ann Burks, 59, Raytown, MO, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Independence Regional Health Center. Memorial service celebrating her life to be held Wednesday March 8, 2006 at 1:00 pm at the Rime Buddhist Center, 700 W. Penway, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Rime Buddhist Center in her memory. Marguerite attained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas. She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City after a career of 30 years. She was very active in community volunteerism, including the Youth Friends program, Meals on Wheels, recycling, and the local election boards. Marguerite was also a Board Member of the BCBSKC Credit Union. She was an avid traveler and reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bertha Hilburn. She is survived by her partner in life for 23 years Forrest Oelberg and his children, Sherrie Domann, Carrie Orozco and Charles Oelberg; her brothers and sisters, Rose Schaumburg, Joyce Collins, Roy Schaumburg, Jr., Judy Schaumberg-Clarke and Benjamin Schaumberg, and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all. Published in the Kansas City Star on 3/6/2006.

Jerry is a VH Alumni (1960) and will be gifting a Falcon sculpture he created to VH at this time. All school alumni are welcome to attend.
