Bio     Christina E. Rose Gentry Wallace, 69, of Sugar Creek, MO, passed away peacefully at home on February 6, 2017. A celebration of life will be held from 10:00-11:30 AM Saturday, February 11th at Blue Ridge Blvd Christian Church, 3625 Blue Ridge Blvd., Independence, MO. Private burial was at Mount Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO. Christina was born September 9, 1947 in Kansas City, KS. She was a faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ and delighted in serving others in His name. She was a generous giver to many friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Virginia Rose and sister, Johanna Epstein. Christina is survived by her husband William Wallace; a sister and eight brothers; sons, Shawn Gentry (Joni), Craig Gentry (Rochelle), Stephen Gentry (Denise), and Christopher Gentry; eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Jerry is a VH Alumni (1960) and will be gifting a Falcon sculpture he created to VH at this time. All school alumni are welcome to attend.
