Bio | Jesse Hearn Obituary Jesse Edward Hearn, 68, of Independence, Mo., passed away June 12, 2015. Born December 2, 1946, in Independence, Mo. to Jesse Isaac and Edith May (Bond) Hearn. He was united in marriage to Georgia Mae Robb on October 13, 1990. She preceded him in death on August 23, 2014. Jesse worked at Lipton Tea in Independence for 22 years and retired as a Quality Control Specialist in 2011. He was an Eagle Scout and was a Hardway Warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. His tribal war name was Sleeping War Hawk. Jesse was an assistant scout master with Troop 803 for 12 years. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Georgia Hearn and a step-daughter, Mary Pearl Shaughnessy. Survivors include his children, Frank, Michelle and Bryan; step-children, Georgia and Robert, 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services at New Salem Funeral Home.
