I married Karen Hammond (class of 66) in March of 68, Karen died in Oct of 1994. We have 3 great kids Jay( born in 68) Jill (1970) & Jason (1972), we all live in the Blue Springs area. Was in electrionics for a couple of years after graduation. Got back in the construction in 1969. Joined the pipefitters union, in 1970, went thru a 5 year apprenticeship program, specializing in heating, cooling & commercial refrideration ( I installed the original ice- makers & the walk-in beer coolers at the sports complex, in 1972), I guess that's my claim to fame. Started building houses & condos in 1975. In 2005, I partnered with two national companies, Western Forms & Structura Technologies, traveled, built & promoted concrete homes along with other concrete structures in about 12 states. Never completly got out of the heating & air business. Was given the nick-name "DrFreon" in the 70's, my web-site is: www.drfreon.com, that is currently under re- construction, should be back running later this spring. My e-mail is: drfreon@micro.com, I have a 24/7 voice mail: (913-577-3323) I plan to attend at least one of the reunion fuctions, later this summer, looking to seeing all, then. |
