Bio | Chuck Town, 58, Grain Valley, MO passed away on September 16, 2005 at his home. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September, 24th at Chuck's home. He was born on February 11, 1947 in Jasper, Arkansas to James and Joy Town. Chuck spent his childhood in Arkansas and moved to the Independence, MO area in his teens. He was a graduate of Van Horn High School. Chuck had been a machine tool designer for 37 years, and established his own business, Town Design, in 1991. He was preceded in death by his father, James Marion Town; and his grandparents, Walter and Maude Town. Chuck is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jodi Town; one daughter, Darlene Town; two sons, Jim and wife May Town and John and wife Christi Town; his mother, Joy and husband Al Dixon; one sister, JoAn Barrows; one grandson, Perry Jordan; one nephew, Darrell Lucas; one niece, Tina Adriano and her children, Devin and Monica; his beloved dog, Pepper; and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
