| Bio | Donna J. Hunter, 70, of Raymore, MO, passed away April 12, 2017. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 17th at Chapel Hill - Butler, 701 N. 94th St., KCK, with visitation time from 10:00-11:00 a.m. preceding the service. Inurnment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. Donna was born April 21, 1946 in Norfolk, VA to John and Peggy Ann Hunter. She graduated from Van Horn High School in Independence. Donna worked as a business manager for Haas and Wilkerson Insurance Co. for fifteen years before retirement. She loved watching KU basketball, the Royals and Chiefs, and enjoyed gardening and reading. Donna was devoted to her family. She is survived by her partner of 19 years, Jim Bernard; her children, Robert Turner (Kimberly), Dennis Turner (Ali), Marty Jones, Jamie Bernard- Drakey, and James Bernard (Maria); grandchildren, Jillian, Joshua, Noah, and Caleb Turner, Jimmy Bernard, April and Amber Jones, and Andrew and Matthew Berdahl; her siblings, Cathy Fender (Peter), Bobby Hunter (Bobbie), and Patty Edmunds (Alan).
