Bio     Terri Hope Hamline Blankenship, 64, of Maryville, Missouri (formerly of Independence, Missouri), passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at her home, in Maryville. She was born June 10, 1946, in Chillicothe, Missouri, the daughter of Thomas Merle and Anne Belle (Waltz) Hamline. Terri graduated from Van Horn High School, Independence, Missouri, in 1964 and married William Eugene Sayles. They were divorced. She joined the Army , becoming a Sergeant during the Vietnam Era. In 1986 she graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Medical Records Administration and worked for Beasley & Thomas. Terri married Billy Howard Blankenship October 2, 1999, in Maryville. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and BPW in Maryville and the Registered Health Information Administration Association "AHIMA." Terri was preceded in death by her husband, Billy on January 21, 2009, and her parents. Survivors include her sons: Douglas (Cindy) Sayles, St. Charles, Missouri, and Jason (Laura) Hagan, Maryville; grandchildren: Jacob Hagan, Catelyn Huber and Nicholas Huber; brothers: Thomas Merle Hamline III, Sweet Springs, Missouri, and Steve Hamline, Denver, Colorado; sisters: Lori Beth Hamline, Kansas City, Missouri, Sharon Bishop, Alaska, Vicki Tilford, Chico, California, and Cindy Tilford, Boise, Idaho, and Max, the dog. Graveside Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri, with Military Services under the direction of the Missouri Military Honors Program.
