| Bio | Graduated CMSU 1963 with degree in Elementary Education. Received Masters from UMKC 1974. Taught for 26 years at Alton and Santa Fe Trail in the Independence School District. Retired in 1998. Was married to Rodger Wright for 28 years and we had two daughters, Michele and Melissa. We have four grandchildren, Jillian and Erin, Jacob and Caleb. Michele's family lives in Charlotte, NC. Rodger and I even square danced for 10 years. So much fun and made many lasting friends. Rodger and I have remained good friends. Now married to William Hamilton for 13 years. Two step sons Michael and Chris. I am avid gardener with a pond and love decorating anything!! No health problems and enjoy life with lots of exercise and don't know how to sit still for very long. Am an avid reader and love learning new things and experiencing new challenges. Have a great love of nature and when younger did lots of camping, hiking, water sports, and even climbed a few mountains. Have traveled alot here and oversees, plus Hawaiia, Mexico and Puerto Rico. My life has been full with lots of family and friends. My husband used to be PR Director for the Chiefs, so am privileged to know Lamar Hunt and many of the players who went to the Super Bowl...even know George Brett! So exciting and have been a lucky girl! My brother Curtis died in 1999, class
of 1961. The best is that I have found a peace within that sustains me. |
