| Bio | Shirley A. Halterman passed away peacefully on September 21, 2019 at Kansas City Hospice House at age 74. She was born on January 5, 1945 in Kansas, MO to Jay and (Retta) Lucille Pendergraft.
She graduated from Van Horn High School in 1963. Shirley married Herbert Halterman on February 24, 1968. She spent the majority of her professional career working for Sears & Roebuck as a bill collector until her retirement. Shirley loved fishing, boating, watching her two grandsons play sports, and spending time with family and friends. She and Herb retired to their lake house in Warsaw, MO in 1997.
She is survived by her Husband, Herbert, son Brian (Autumn) of Greenwood, MO and two grandsons, Dylan and Dalton.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Lucille Pendergraft, and her sister, Beverly Despain.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12th at the Paradise Point Shelter House at 1:00 p.m. Please join us as we celebrate Shirley's life. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw. |
