Bio | Patrick Lee "Pat" Pearson, 66, of Denver Colorado, recently of Fort Myers, Florida, died at The Denver Hospice facility on May 30, 2011, at 6:47 P.M. Mountain Standard Time, surrounded by his son, close relatives and a Van Horn High
School football jersey. He had courageously fought a five-year battle with cancer. Born on November 14, 1944, in Huntsville, Missouri, the son of Charles E. Pearson and the former Jessie Lee O'Connor, both deceased, Pat lived in Moberly, Missouri until 1955, when he moved to Kansas City, Missouri, with his family. He graduated from Van Horn High School in 1962, where he played football for the Van Horn Falcons. He then attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. After college, he was employed by the Tension Envelope Company in Kansas City and was transferred to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he married Sharon Bradley in February 1975. He and Sharon were the parents of one son, Patrick Lee Pearson, Jr. During his twenty years in Tulsa, Pat worked for Tension Envelope and Tulsa General Insurance Company. Pat's final career endeavor moved him to Fort Myers, Florida, where he became a stockbroker and later the Compliance Director of the Naples/Fort Myers, Florida, branch of Morgan Stanley, where he retired in 2005. He was a charter member of the Birchwood Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri, loved his son, who was so precious to him, and an avid golfer. A memorial service will be held in Huntsville, Missouri, which will be his final resting place. |
