Bio | William Fredrick Hendrix was born in Independence, MO. He passed away August 26, 2017 in Gulfport, MS at the age of 73, after an arduous battle against cancer. “Fred” was a graduate of Van Horn High School in 1962; he later studied theater at Louisiana State University. Fred had many achievements in his life including working with Sid & Marty Kroff’s H.R. Pufnstuf, influencing the creation of Vince Vance and the Valiants, managed at Your Father’s Mustache, owner of 711 Bourbon St. Tricou House, and was an exemplary father. Fred is survived by his sister, Carrah; brother, John; mother to his only son Dalton, Nancy, and his wife Antonette. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edith Hendrix. A special thanks to family and friends that have been there for Fred in his time of need.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30PM Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Diamondhead Country Club, 7600 Country Club Cir., Diamondhead, MS 39525. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach, MS is serving the family.
