Bio | Roger Williams, 72, of Independence, Mo., passed away Aug. 7, 2016.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 S. 39th St., Independence. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
Roger was born Sept. 17, 1943, in Kansas City, Mo., and graduated from Van Horn High School in the Class of 1962. He served in the National Guard, was a Deacon at Trinity Presbyterian Church and a member of the U.A.W. He worked at Cunningham Oldsmobile for over twenty years as the Parts Manager and retired in 2003. He enjoyed camping, old movies and was a big Royals fan.
Roger is survived by son, Michael Kupka and wife, Chris, Blue Springs, Mo., best friend, Hal Brown and wife, Mary Ellen, and his ex-wife, Cindy Kupka, all of Independence, Mo.
