| Bio | Shirley K. Craig, 75, of Blue Springs, MO passed away April 5, 2018, at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs. She was born March 17, 1943 in Independence, MO to Chuck and Georgia (Atkinson) Scott.
Shirley was a devoted housewife and her family meant the world to her. She married Robert Craig on December 25, 1970 in Kansas City, MO. In addition to Bob, survivors include a daughter, Julie Barker and husband, Mike of Lake Lotawana, MO; granddaughter, Nichole Barker and two great grandchildren, Victoria and Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Charlene Campbell; and a grandson, Josh Green.
A funeral service celebrating Shirley’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2018, at the Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs. Burial will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
