| Bio | Leamon Johnson, 77, of Independence, MO passed away April 27, 2020. A memorial service will be announced when the current restrictions are lifted. Leamon was born April 5, 1943 in Myrtle, MO to Herbert Leamon and Carrie Elizabeth (Tyler) Johnson. He was a graduate from Van Horn High School, and retired from Lafarge after 30 years. Leamon had a love for hot rods and westerns. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Wayne and Dean Johnson. Leamon is survived by daughter, Carrie Perry and husband Steve; son, Steven Johnson; three grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Taylor Perry and Michael Johnson; three great granddaughters, Hazel, Carrie, Winnie, and one more on the way; as well as two sisters, Sharon Amermon and Kathie Bailey.
