Our dad, Joe Folkert, passed away in the early hours of December 3, 2014. He is survived by his wife Vicki Folkert, three children Kimberly Parker, George Folkert, and Erin Boyce and the three grandchildren he raised Kenny Jackson, Tabitha Folkert, and Isaiah Folkert. Additionally, he is survived by 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren and his sister, Marcia Folkert. Our dad was a man who put his family first in everything he did. As we continue to reminisce and celebrate who he was in life, the resounding message is that our dad was everybody's dad. He believed that no boundaryexisted between those he loved and those he called family. He will be missed every day, both his smile and his anger, his snoring and his ticklish feet. Yet everyday he is missed, he will also be celebrated through the legacy of his family and their continued accomplishments and love for each other as he taught us, unconditionally and unending. "Thank you Daddy" for giving us many amazing years with you and for many more amazing years as we continue to carry you with us. "We love you!!!!" – Your Family The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Heartland Hospice of Kansas City.
