| Bio | James F. Burrow, 60, Lake Winnebago, MO, passed away December 10, 2003, at his home after a courageous battle with leukemia. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. December 12, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Funeral services December 13, at 11 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Mr. Burrow was born May 9, 1943, in San Pedro, CA, to James Clifford & Josephine Alice Burrow. He was a graduate of Van Horn High School & Central Missouri State College. He was an employee of The Jones Store Company from 1967, until his retirement in 1999. During retirement, Jim enjoyed weekends with his children & grandchildren at the lake, KU Basketball, volunteer work for Angel Flight Central, the Chiefs, Royals and fishing with close friends and his fishing dog, Ted. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna K. Burrow. Jim is survived by his children, Michael Burrow of Lake Winnebago, MO, Susan Abrahamson & husband, Shawn of Lee's Summit, MO, & Stephen & wife, Rachael Burrow of Washington, MO; grandchildren, Tyler Burrow, Emilie Abrahamson, Cooper Abrahamson & Gus Burrow; brothers, Tom & wife, Barbara Burrow & Larry & Helen Burrow, all of Independence, MO, mother-in-law, Lucille McKenzie of Riverside, MO; sister-in-law, Susan Newberry & husband, Rex of North Kansas City, MO; several nieces, nephews & close friends.
