Bio | Charles N. Burcham, 55, Independence, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at North Kansas City Hospital of a heart attack. Mr. Burcham was born Dec. 27, 1943, in Kansas City and was a lifelong area resident. He was a truck driver for Wells
Fargo/Armored Truck for seven years, retired from Amoco in 1987, and owned and operated an auto parts store in Susquehanna APA for five years. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen J. (McKenzie) Burcham on Jan. 15, 1998. His survivors include his wife, Sharon (Legan) Burcham of the home; two sons, Scott Burcham, Buckner, and Tom Burcham, Independence; one daughter, Laura Lee Burcham, Lenexa, Kan.;
a stepson, Edward Stagg Jr., and a stepdaughter, Stephanie Stagg, both of Independence; his father, Neville Burcham, Independence; a sister, Vickie Stiatton, Blue Springs; and seven
grandchildren. |
