| Bio | Robert Russell Rathbun, 60, Blue Springs, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Rathbun was born Nov. 10, 1942, in Kansas City, to Arthur Pratt and Vina Harriettann (Robinson) Rathbun. Shortly after graduating from Van Horn High School, he began working for Business Men's Assurance Co., where he worked 42 1/2 years until his death.
His survivors include his wife, Susan (Henderson) Rathbun of the home; a son, Robert Randall Rathbun, Independence; a sister, Judy Beard, Independence; two stepsons, Nathan VanNess, Orlando, Fla., and Eric VanNess, Blue Springs; a stepgranddaughter, Victoria Lynn VanNess, Orlando; a niece, Julie Beard, Independence; and a nephew, Jimmy Beard and his wife, Kerri, Grain Valley. |
