Bio | Margaret Lee “Maggie” Parker, 73, Independence, MO passed away Feb. 18, 2017. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 pm, Sat., April 1 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Maggie was born July 1, 1943 in St. Louis, MO. Her family moved to Independence when she was young and she graduated from Van Horn High School. She was an EEG Technician who worked at many area hospitals over her career including St. Joseph Medical Center, Centerpoint Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park Regional Medical Center and most recently Lee’s Summit Medical Center. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family most of all.
Maggie was preceded in death by her sister Pat England. She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years Don Parker, of the home; daughter Shari Cipolla and husband Chris, Kearney, MO; son Tim Parker and wife Molly, Kansas City, MO; brothers Don Poindexter and wife Carol, Blue Springs, MO; Mike Poindexter and wife Chris, Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren Taylor Parker, Excelsior Springs, MO; Kylie Lancaster, Kansas City, MO; Riley Parker, Excelsior Springs, MO; Dustyn Lancaster, Kansas City, MO; Christian Cipolla, Kearney, MO; great-grandchild Kasidy Stafford and many other family members. |
