Bio     Juda Ann Cook, age 80, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. Sunday, March 8th, 1942 - Friday, July 22nd, 2022 Her family members were spouse, Lawrence Lee Cook (deceased), children Lawrence Michael Cook (deceased) and Stephen Lee Cook (Eimee), parents, Harry Lee Vardiman and Thelma Florene Vardiman, sister, Carol Taggart, grandchildren Susan Lee Albertson (Eric), Cheyenne Autumn Cook, Zane Robert Cook and Sloan Chandlar Cook. Services will be held on July 28 at 10:00 o'clock at Speaks Funeral Home, address.18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, Missouri, 64055. Juda loved to decorate her home, and spent many hours finding just the right furnishings to make her home special because home and family was the most important thing to her. She loved her husband, two boys and all of her grandchildren more than anything else. Juda was active in church from a very young age and her religion was very important to her. She was a member of Waldo Avenue Baptist Church as a young person and later, attended First Baptist Church of Independence, Missouri, along with her husband and children. Juda also was secretary to the City Manager of Independence, Missouri and worked at the corporate office of Payless Cashways in Kansas City, Missouri. Juda loved antiques, churches, old movies, animals and flowers. Juda was always looking for inspiration and the positive aspects in life and was always available to provide love and support to her family. The family would like to pay special gratitude to Lily Bessenbacher for the friendship and love that she provided to Juda, after the passing of Lawrence Cook, and to John Knox Village Care Center for their care and support.
