| Bio | Donna Jean McCrehin, 74, of Holden, Mo., formerly of Independence, Mo., passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at Lee's Summit Medical Center.
Donna was born March 8, 1942, in Kansas City, the daughter of W. C. Jones and Virginia Lucille (Thompson) Jones. She graduated from Van Horn High School in Independence. She was united in marriage to Lloyd C. McCrehin on January 22, 1965, in Independence. In January of 1976, the couple moved to Holden. Donna was a cook at Holden Middle School for many years. Her hobbies included ceramics at one time and also computer games.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; son, Ron McCrehin of Independence; daughter, Lisa McKown and husband, Randy, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Debbie Obbink and husband, David, of Pleasant Hill; and six grandchildren, Jon Frame, Derek Frame, Drew Elam, Mariah Elam, Kayla McKown and Ethan McKown. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. this morning, May 10, at Williams Funeral Chapel, 609 E. 10th St., Holden, 816-732-4188. Father Pete Savidge will be officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Holden. Pallbearers: Drew Elam, Jon Frame, Randy McKown, Tracy Lutz, Dustin Thompson and Chris Webb.

Funeral Service wll be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday May 10th at Williams Chapel in Holden with Father Pete Savidge officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery in Holden, Pallbearers will be Drew Elam Jon Frame Randy McKown Tracy utz Dustin Thompsin and Chris Webb. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. |
