Bio | Jack Carl Gann, 81 of Blue Springs, formerly of Odessa, died August 21, 2024 at the Jefferson Health Care Center in Lee’s Summit.
He was born October 31, 1942, in Higginsville, to Luther and Emma (Wilson) Gann.
Jack spent most of his life working in construction. He owned his own company, JCG& Co. for many years, specializing in asphalt maintenance and later landscaping. Jack also worked for the First Baptist Church of Blue Springs for 10 years as a janitor. He was very skilled at working with his hands and had an uncanny ability at fine, detailed, meticulous work. Jack was very artistic and an avid reader. He loved working with model cars, and many other various art projects. Friends remember him as someone with a great sense of humor, who was fun and kind. In his later years, he enjoyed reminiscing about his life, often impressing with his keen sense of memory, especially dates.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob and Jerry Gann; and a sister, Betty Ainsworth.

Private graveside services will be held at the City Cemetery in Higginsville.
