Charlotte Marie Beyer, 77 of Warsaw, MO passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at her residence. Cremation is planned with a Celebration of her life to be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Buckner Town Hall, 32 South Sibley St., Buckner, MO 64016. Charlotte was born March 5, 1941 in Kansas City, MO. She spent most of her life in the Kansas City area, graduating from Van Horn High School in 1959. She had worked in food service for Fort Osage School District for over 25 years until she retired in 1998 and moving to Warsaw later in life. She enjoyed flower gardening, home décor projects, catering, playing card games and most of all spending time with family at her lake house. She was a member of a group of Van Horn classmates who met regularly for meals, was president of the Buckner PTA, where she headed up many school activities throughout the years and a member of the Campfire Girls. She was very active in the Buckner Community where she entered a contest to draw the Buckner city seal, and won the contest. The Buckner City seal she designed is still in use today. Survivors include; her husband, David Beyer of the home; 2 daughters, Cindy Parkes (Mike) of Independence, MO and Gail Elgin of Warsaw, MO; a son, Phillip Elgin (Lisa) of Caledonia, MS; a step son, Dale Beyer (Georgie) of Blue Springs, MO; 2 sisters, Gladys Bratton (David) of Lee’s Summit, MO and Dottie Farmer of Warsaw, MO; a sister-in-law, Kathy Lutjen of Clinton, MO; 10 grandchildren, Garen, Chase (Autumn), Victoria (Sam), Layne, Tori, Peyton, Elora, Samantha, Nicholas and Gabby; 1 great grandchild, Mason; the Vickers family, Terry, Sonya, Haley, Mallory and Josey; 3 nieces and 2 nephews, Jessica, Michael, Tashea, Randy and Faye; great nieces and nephews, cousins and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elora Isom and Jesse Hauptley, a grandson, Hayden McFatrich and mother-in-law, Virginia Beyer.
