Bio     Sharon G. Dibben Sharon Gayle (Towsley) Dibben, 61, Raytown, died Thursday, July 25, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Dibben was born June 18, 1941, in Montrose, Mo., the daughter of Elmer and Irene Towsley. She lived in the Appleton City and Butler area before moving to Kansas City. She graduated from Van Horn High School in 1959. After high school, she worked at National Bellas Hess. She married James Norman Dibben on April 28, 1962, and lived in Independence. She worked as a cook at Fort Osage High School for 17 years. She was a member of TOPS Club #291. She participated in senior activities at the Sermon Center in Independence. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Jason Griffin. Her survivors include her husband, Norman, of the home; her children, Janine and Tom Foster, Raytown, Janelle and Scott Wynn, Millington, Tenn., Joyce and Craig Griffin, Blue Springs, and Richard and Janet Dibben, Bates City, Mo.; three sisters, Shelby Ewens, Noel, Mo., Sandra Perusich, Independence, and Sylvia Eldridge, Butler, Mo.; one brother, Stanley Towsley, Odessa; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and ten nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery near Quincy, Mo. Friends can visit from 7 until 8 p.m. Saturday at Friendly Assembly of God Church, 1215 Benton Boulevard, Kansas City.
