| Bio | KEARNEY DUANE PIXLER Kearney Duane Pixler, 82, of Independence, Mo., passed away June 7, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held 9:30 -11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Susquehanna Baptist Church, 17800 E. Susquehanna Ridge, Independence, MO 64056. The family requests that you come and share your stories and memories of Kearney, and it is casual dress. Kearney was born June 23, 1940, in Pine Bluff, Ark. to Jesse "Duane" and Mary Lee (Bearden) Pixler. Kearney was preceded in death by his parents: Duane and Mary Pixler. Kearney is survived by his wife Barbara Pixler of the home; son: Bobby Pixler and wife Debra of Lincoln, Mo., daughter: Randi Orlando and husband Tony of Independence; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister: Diana Pixler of Oak Grove, Mo.; brother: Fred Pixler and wife Kay of Oak Grove.
