Bio | USMC retired in 1995 with over 38 years service as a Counterintelligence & Criminal Intelligence Officer - worldwide. Concurrent federal law enforcement 1982-1990. Combat service: Laos, Cambodia, RVN & Desert Storm. Counterdrug & criminal operations in Central America, the Far East & the southern U.S. border! BS degree in Police Science, 1970, Irvine University, Costa Mesa, CA. After H.S., I lived in CA, NY, PA, & AZ. 1966 in CA I married the former Margaret (Peggy) Gilman of St. Albans, VT, & we have been taking care of each other since. Our children: Donald (Scotty - deceased 2015), Shawn & Sheli. We presently have five grandchildren & one great granddaughter. My last "work" was P/T as Director, Special Investigations for a private firm investigating fraud cases/claims throughout the SW. Peggy & I enjoyed train travel all over the U.S. & Canada. We still enjoy 'good home cooked' meals & fresh foods of all sorts! Health, (mainly old age), now prevents me from annual "deep fly-in/backwoods" Canadian/NWT/Yukon fishing adventures, & raising Siberian Huskies or Belgian Malinois K9's. I enjoyed handgun shooting, but very little now! We were going to relocate to the NE U.S. (Maine) but the SEVERE economy decline & inflation put this 'venture' on the back burner -- so we bought a new 2500 sf, 4 BR ranch home on small acreage! We shall stay here 'to- the-bitter end' with our 19 y/o Belgian Malinois, CYRUS! Semper Fidelis |
