Bio | I retired from the USMC in 1995 with over 38 years service as a Counterintelligence & Criminal Intelligence Officer. Concurrent federal law enforcement 1982-1990. Combat service during the Vietnam era in Laos & Cambodia, & again in Desert Storm. Counterdrug & criminal operations throughout Central America, the Far East, & along the entire southern U.S. border - Brownsville, TX to the Pacific Ocean! BS degree in Police Science, 1970, Irvine University, Irvine, CA. Since H.S. I have had 'permanent residency' in CA, NY, PA, & AZ. In 1966 in CA I married the former Margaret (Peggy) Gilman of St. Albans, VT, & we have been taking care of each other ever since. Our children are: Donald (Scotty), Shawn, & Sheli. We presently have three grandchildren. I still 'work' P/T as the Director, Special Investigations for a private firm investigating fraud cases/ claims throughout the SW. We also provide covert vehicle, foot, & video surveillance. Peggy & I enjoy train travel all over the U.S. & Canada. We also enjoy 'good home cooked' meals & fresh foods of all sorts! Health now prevents me from annual 'deep fly-in backwoods' Canadian/ NWT/ Yukon/ Alaska fishing adventures, & raising Siberian Huskies. I still enjoy handgun shooting, & I still do a fair amount of this. We were going to relocate to the NE U.S. (Maine) but the economy decline & real estate 'bottom-out' have placed this 'venture' on the back burner! |
