| Bio | Nancy K. Sebolt, 73, passed away Oct. 2, 2012. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Floral Hills. Inurnment will follow. Nancy was born April 14, 1939 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, MO. She was a graduate of Van Horn High School, Kansas State College and The University of Kansas where she earned her Master's Degree in Social Work. Nancy was a lifetime resident of Kansas City where she devoted over 50 years as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. Her employment included tenure with Wyandotte Mental Health Center, Niles Home for Children, Western Missouri Mental Health Center, Two Rivers Behavioral Health System, Westport Counseling & Associates and a Private Practice. Nancy was an avid sports fan; she was a Chiefs season ticket holder for over 25 years and loved fishing, golf, Royals baseball and horse racing. Her spirit for athletic achievement was unsurpassed, resulting in her risk adverse attitude about life. Her loss will be greatly felt by family members and many friends who loved and were loved by her. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred H. & Virginia (Logan) Sebolt. Nancy is survived by her life partner Nancie E. Thomas, her sister and brother-in law Marlena (Sebolt) & Kenneth Kirton, nieces and nephews Pamela Hjelmquist , Ken Kirton Jr., Paula Corsi, Miriah Amolins, Jordon Hjelmquist, Jakob Hjelmquist , Nancie's sister Patricia Thomas, brother and sister in- law Bill and Cheryl Thomas and respective nieces and nephews.
