Bio | Charles Allen Polk, 69, of Cumming, Ga., died on August 13, 2008, at Embracing Hospice House. The son of the late Charles and Roberta Polk, he was a native of Missouri. Mr. Polk was a graduate of Van Horn High School (class of 1957) in Independence, Mo. He was an Eagle Scout and was a certified boating captain by the USCG. He loved the water and lived on his boat for the last four years. His daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and David Douglas of Cumming, Ga., and two beloved grandsons, D. Daxton Douglas and Drayden Douglas, also of Cumming, survive Mr. Polk. In lieu of services, memorials are welcomed in the memory of Charles A. Retired 1997 from State of Mo Dept of Labor. Some management consulting work first few years after retirement however now retired full time and living aboard personal Yacht in Texas. Would like to renew old friendships. Divorced '84. One daughter Kelly and two Grandchildren. |
